The registration and choice filling will start from July 30, 2025. Eligible candidates should complete their registration by August 4, 2025. According to the notification released by the JCECEB. The Health Medical Education and Family Welfare department in Ranchi have offered 75 seats of MBBS to the upcoming academic session. Among these, 60 seats lie in the unreserved category and are admissible to the qualified candidates of the NEET UG 2025 all over the country including those residing in Jharkhand. The rest 15 seats are to be reserved to those candidates who will apply using the NRI quota.

Eligibility Criteria for Jharkhand NEET UG Counselling 2025

In order to avail the Jharkhand MBBS/BDS counselling candidates have to fulfill the following criteria:

Basic Requirements

• The candidate should be a permanent resident and an Indian citizen of Jharkhand. State quota seats must have a valid domicile certificate.

• Should have a qualified NEET UG 2025 with valid scores.

Educational Qualifications

The candidates are required to complete class 12 (10+2)  the following subjects:

• Physics

• Chemistry

• Biology/Biotechnology

• English as school subject

Minimum required marks for PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology):

• General category 50 %

• OBC/SC/ST categories - 40 %

• PwD (General) 45%

Age Criteria

• The minimum age is 17 years as of December 31, 2025.

• The rules of NEET UG 2025 have no upper age limit for participation.

Jharkhand NEET Reservation Policy (State Quota) 2025

For Non-Domicile Candidates

The students who cannot put Jharkhand as their permanent residence do not get priority under state quota seats. But can be admitted through the All India Quota (AIQ) of 15 percent.
