MCC NEET 2025 Counselling Round 1 Begins: Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), an organization of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), started the registration process of NEET UG 2025 Round 1 counselling on July 21, 2025, on its official portal mcc.nic.in. Under 15 percent All India Quota (AIQ), aspirants who have qualified NEET UG 2025 can apply to get admission in MBBS, BDS, AIIMS, JIPMER, and other institutions.

Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will organize the NEET UG 2025 counselling in four rounds. According to the official calendar, the registration deadline in Round 1 is July 28, 2025. The window of locking and filling of choices will be opened from July 22 to 28. Round 1 seat allotment process will be done on July 29 and 30 and a provisional result on July 31. Soon after the final allotment result will be announced candidates have to report to their allotted institutes on or before August 1 to 6 to get admission.

MCC NEET 2025 Counselling: Eligibility, Costs And Deadlines

It is very important for all the NEET aspirants to be aware of the eligibility criteria, costs, and deadline dates before registering for the NEET 2025 counselling.

a) Eligibility Requirement

• Valid percentiles and qualified NEET UG 2025 with valid scores.

• Eligible for 15 % AIQ (central universities, deemed universities, AIIMS/JIPMER, ESIC, AFMC seats)

b) Deadlines to Remember

• Registration and fee payment: July 21-28, 2025 (Registration ends at 12 noon, fee ends at 3 PM)

• Choice Filling+Locking Window: July 22-28 (fills till 11:55PM, locks on July 28 between 4:00-11:55PM)

• Seat Allotment Processing: July 29-30.

• Result of Seat Allotment: July 31.

• Reporting & Document Verification to the Institute: August 1-6

c) Counselling Fees and Refundable Deposits

• General: 1,000 rupees (Non-refundable fee) for AIQ and central universities and 500 rupees (Non-refundable fee) for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD.

• Registration fee of deemed institutions: 5,000 rupees.

• Refundable tuition deposit: Varies 10,000 (General) and 5,000 (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD) for AIQ: 2,00,000 in deemed universities

How to Register for MCC NEET 2025 Counselling Round 1

• Go to mcc.nic.in and then click on UG Medical Counselling 2025 and further click on the New Registration.

• Enter NEET roll number, application, DOB etc in the  blank spaces on the redirected page.

• Set Password, upload photo, signature, documents.

• Pay counselling fee and print confirmation page.

• Log in and fill and lock your college choices.

MCC NEET 2025 Counselling Choice Filling & Locking

• Date of Choice Filling: July 22-28, Date of Locking: July 28 (4-11:55pm).

• Failure to lock nullifies your filled preferences.

• This step allows you to give a priority to colleges below 15% AIQ, central/ deemed / private seats.
